Washington fundraiser to prove lawyers have a heart

A Washington event will show that lawyers are more than willing to take a stand when it comes to supporting their community.

A late spring fundraising run and fun walk has been organized by the legal community that calls DC home. It will include more than 300 organizations and at least 6,000 runners and walkers, and these weekend warriors will all be raising money for the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.

This popular fundraiser has proven to be a big success throughout the years, and since its inception in 1991, it has been able to collect more than $14m in donations for research into heart disease and stroke, as well as offer support to those living with heart problems.

Those who would like to join in supporting this cause can register to do so online, and here, they can find more details about the day and the various options that are open to them. Race day swag such as promotional pens, number bibs for the runners and walkers, T-shirts, hats, water bottles, and many other items can all be obtained for an occasion like this from an area printer.

This chance to take a stand in support of those impacted by heart disease and stroke has been scheduled for June 13. Washington Harbour will be the venue for this popular fundraiser.
