Washington fundraiser to help support Marine families

The Marine Corp family is hosting a Washington fundraiser to help meet the educational expenses of the families of its personnel, and this gala event will include several sponsorship opportunities.

This year marks the 34th anniversary of the Celebratory Gala which raises money for the often expensive cost of scholarships for families of corps members. More than 300 guests will be in attendance, and these include Members of Congress, Washington dignitaries, and some of the Marines’ top brass.

The evening will open with a reception, after which there will be dining, dancing, and other programming. The suggested attire is black tie, and military evening dress uniforms can also be worn.

The organizers have put together a selection of sponsorship levels for the local corporate community, and these start at the $250.00 “Friend“ level and go all the way up to the $100,000 “Scarlet and Gold Donor” level. Including the name and logo design of the sponsors in the programs and other materials prepared for an event like this can thank these donors for their support.

This chance to show some appreciation to the families that are the strength behind the Marine uniform will be welcoming guests on June 13, with a scheduled start time of 6:45 pm for the reception. The function will be taking place at 1330 Maryland Ave SW.
