Lewisville to mark July 4th with community festival

June 21, 2021 by

Lewisville will continue its tradition of hosting a community-wide festival in honor of Independence Day when the annual July 4th Freedom Festival returns with a bang this summer.

For over 20 years, Lewisville has marked July 4th with a community celebration at Castle Hills, 2,900-acre mixed-use community development. This summer, the tradition continues with the city planning a large festival in Castle Hills Village Shops and Lake Avalon.

The festival will feature activities for the whole family, such as bounce houses, live music, and carnival games. The restaurants of Castle Hills Village Shops will be open for attendees to purchase food from, and food trucks will also be stationed around the venue.

The main event of the evening will be the fireworks display, which will occur at dusk. Organizers recommend bringing blankets and chairs to sit on while watching the fireworks. Space will fill up fast, so it is also recommended to get there early to snag a good seat.

The July 4th Freedom Festival will take place on Sunday, July 4, at 5:30 pm. There will be no admission fee, and everyone is welcomed. The venue address is 2520 King Arthur Boulevard, Lewisville. For more information, visit the Castle Hills community’s website.

Festivals like this often use banners as decoration, so banner printing services may be considered when planning such an event.
