Washington workshop to keep winter blahs at bay

November 25, 2020 by

An event that will be a fun idea for a family night out will offer an introduction to painting, and with all the instructions and supplies needed being provided, it will be a stress-free start to 2021.

The registrants for the paint and sip, which will be offered at Main Street Arts in Washington, will be creating their very own painting of a friendly, happy bee. They can choose a different design if they wish, and no experience is needed to enjoy the activity.

Each participant will receive a 16×20-inch canvas, as well as an apron to protect their clothing. All the other supplies, such as paint and brushes, will be on hand as well. There will be “grown up” beverages on tap for the adults to purchase, and everyone is advised to arrive early so they can choose their spot, get set up, and be ready to get creative.

Potentially a welcome break from the winter cold, print shops will be able to supply a variety of ways to promote this sort of activity to the community. They can also craft registration forms and other documents that can aid in taking care of the business side of the event.

The Bee Happy Painting for Kids and Adults workshop is scheduled for January 1, 2021. It will run from 12:30 pm until 6:30 pm.
