Celebration set to bring the world to Washington

A nation’s food is a big part of its cultural identity, and an upcoming event will bring the world to Washington through cuisine, music, and other activities.

For one day only, portions of Pennsylvania Avenue and Freedom Plaza will be transformed into a huge outdoor pavilion that will put the food and culture of over 40 different countries in the spotlight. The day will kick off with demonstrations of different folk dances, and after that, the crowd will be invited to explore everything on offer.

Visitors can browse through the arts and crafts and perhaps even purchase a souvenir of the day. Local businesses and charitable organizations will also be taking part, and admission to this pet-friendly event is free of charge.

The planners of this gathering noted that it will be held rain or shine. A printer will be able to lend a hand to anyone who plans on participating in an outdoor function like this by offering banner printing and other services, and it can prepare them using materials that can withstand being out in the elements.

The Around the World Cultural Festival will be bringing the globe to Washington on August 29, and it will begin at 11:00 am. It will continue until 7:00 pm, and everyone is encouraged to make an appearance and join the fun.
