Washington garden to benefit from late spring spruce up

March 26, 2020 by

A Washington garden will benefit from a spruce up in June, thanks to volunteers.

Both groups and individuals can register for a clean-up day planned for Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. There is lots of work to be done, and the projects will range from weeding flower beds to trail maintenance.

Some of the tasks will require walking in shallow ponds, and all of the boots, gloves, tools, trash bags, pickers, and other equipment will be provided. The volunteers have been asked to bring a hat, water bottle, change of clothes, sunscreen, and a string bag, and they are advised to wear old clothes they do not mind getting muddy and be ready to have a lot of fun.

Many hands make a project like this go a lot faster, and a local printing services company can offer lots of ways of thanking the member of the public who lend a hand for their help. It can supply promotional products like water bottles, stickers, lanyards, and sun visors, and these can all be printed with the hosting organization’s logo design.

Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens will be hosting this clean up party on June 13. The activity will begin at 9:00 am, and those who register are asked to be onsite for check in starting at 8:30 am. All help will be appreciated.
